we stopped off in jamestown for a night on the way to san francisco

it is a quite beautiful ex-gold mining town.

they grow the whole worlds plastic cutlery needs in window boxes.

it is a town law that every window MUST have a box growing at least

2 different types so equal amounts are grown.

this hotel has sadly closed down

this store is the best shop in america. number one. go there.

this is the b&b we stayed in. quaint is the word.

the town also has a railway museum. had a very brief look around...

well, it's not going to be on a par with yorks railway museum, is it?

they did have a nice coach however...
