copenhagen has many beautifuls old buildings,
this one is Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium.
a smallish garden we happenend upon.
these buildings can be found on many copenhagen bridges. it is
believed they are staffed by very small people who wear quite large
sailor hats during the day. they control the bridges and if you do
not pay enough toll they will raise the bridge so you cannot cross.
this particular detail is taken on Torvegade.
the danes fly their flag proudly as so they should
instead of lamposts the danish have chosen to run electric cables
in the sky and hang lights from them. there are people who use these
cables to speedily travel around the city, but their shoes are always
earthed correctly. tourists are banned from wearing the shoes.
this is a poster for tivoli gardens. you must go here it is beautiful.
below you will encounter photographs inside tivoli gardens.

great lighting.
big baubles.
this man allows you to compare your arm span to the average danish one.
because of hugging so much, the danes are known throughout the world
for their very long arm span.
more beautiful lighting in tivoli gardens.
this deer chap used to date the mermaid of copenhagen.
they were to be married but her father would give
him the permission deer man sought. on a quiet night
you can still hear the deer pining. he wears a cowboy
jacket beacuse he is a HUGE john wayne fan.
yellow housing in copenhagen.
hand painted street sign in the yellow house district.
many danish pop stars have kick-started their careers at the open
window above the super sound studio. it is to copenhagen as the cavern
is to liverpool. whilst we were there tanita tikaram sang some songs.
